Consultant Spotlight - October 2025
How long have you been with miLEAD?
I joined miLEAD in March of 2025.
What are your current career goals?
My career goals are to help solve engineering and sustainability issues across a diverse range of industries to improve global efficiency. I aim to join teams developing innovative solutions in renewable energy integration to create a cleaner, healthier world. Ideally, I will join a company with a strong desire to create a positive impact on disadvantaged communities.
What roles have you played on projects?
I recently finished my first project with miLEAD as a consultant helping a medical device company.
What led you to seek out miLEAD?
I have a diverse background with roots in medicine, business, and engineering. miLEAD provided me with a unique opportunity to unite my experiences to solve real-world problems. Additionally, miLEAD emphasizes wholistic development of its members, and I wanted to take full advantage of these opportunities.
Since joining miLEAD, what skills have you been able to develop?
Professional communication and time management skills stand out most to me. First, I learned how to ask the right questions to discover underlying problems. Next, collecting, analyzing, and synthesizing information to create focused recommendations are certainly useful skills to develop. Finally, completing this project with firm deadlines further aided in refining these skills.
What has been one of your most rewarding experiences thus far working with miLEAD?
The most rewarding experience thus far was working on the recent medical device project! Specifically, the passion our client had for their product was infectious and watching the team's advisor and project manager discover the ways we could add value was amazing. Not to mention the exceptional team of consultants I worked with. I felt honored simply being in the (virtual) room and look forward to seeing how the recommendations our team created in just a few weeks may help the company grow. And of course the travel mug was a pretty sweet bonus!
