My current career goals are to receive my PhD and go straight into industry. I am open to a wide range of managerial positions in the healthcare and life science fields. I am leaning towards consulting to begin my career and establish a network in industry for future job positions.

What roles have you played on projects?

I have been a consultant, project manager and advisor.

What led you so seek out milead?

Curiosity about job roles that a PhD graduate can have in industry.

Since joining miLEAD, what skills have you been able to develop?

miLEAD has allowed me to develop my leadership, communication, public speaking, organizational and time management skills to a point where I feel more confident in my ability to not only graduate with my PhD, but also land a successful job in industry.

What has been one of your most rewarding experiences thus far working with miLEAD?

Starting a consultant project that you have little knowledge on can be daunting, but 6-8 weeks later presenting your research to the client, and hearing the feedback on how we helped shape the future of a company is inspiring. To me, seeing the client's positive reaction is the most self-validating feeling and confidence booster for a job well done.
