miLEAD welcomes alum and former board member John Corthell for a workshop event
miLEAD’s most recent professional development event featured John Corthell, a former miLEAD board member. John’s talk, titled “Tips and tricks to conducting a thorough market research analysis “, focused on walking current miLEAD consultants through the steps of a market analysis and how to apply that research to a client’s need. It included a workshop in which the audience was asked to devise strategies on how to approach specific situations that reflect some of the challenges facing local businesses today.
John was with miLEAD from 2014-2017 and completed a number of projects in all roles from consultant to adviser. He currently works at the Office of Tech Transfer at the University of Michigan.
miLEAD Alum Marc Sze accepts position at Merck

Congratulations to miLEAD consultant Marc Sze, who was awarded the University of Michigan Outstanding Postdoctoral Fellow Award! Marc also accepted a Senior Scientist position at Merck in the Informatics Oncology team and recently published an article in the American Society for Microbiology's journal mBio.
