miLEAD’s most recent professional development event featured John Corthell, a former miLEAD board member. John’s talk, titled “Tips and tricks to conducting a thorough market research analysis “, focused on walking current miLEAD consultants through the steps of a market analysis and how to apply that research to a client’s need. It included a workshop in which the audience was asked to devise strategies on how to approach specific situations that reflect some of the challenges facing local businesses today.
John was with miLEAD from 2014-2017 and completed a number of projects in all roles from consultant to adviser. He currently works at the Office of Tech Transfer at the University of Michigan.
